Go Joon Hee
Many are familiar with her as she starred in the rom-com drama "She Was Pretty" with Park Seo Joon and Hwang Jung Eum. She had a smooth sailing career not until actress Go Joon Hee got dragged into the Burning Sun scandal, where she was rumored to be involved in BIGBANG Seungri's alleged prostitution solicitation and illegal drug use in 2019.
Since Joon Hee and Seungri had a photo together circulate online, people started to believe that the rumors were true. However, after the scandal broke out, the actress immediately clarified that she was not close with Seungri, and the event they met was attended by the CEO of the brand she endorsed at that time. Seungri happened to be one of the guests at the event.

The female star denied the claims and filed multiple lawsuits against people who spread the false rumors. Though she had already released a statement denying the rumors, Joon Hee's image was already affected, which made her decide to go on hiatus for eight months before signing with a new agency to have a brand new start in her career.
Song Joong Ki
As one of the biggest names in the K-Drama industry, Song Joong Ki immediately made a buzz in 2020 after he was entangled in a relationship with a lawyer. It became big news because it was only a year since he got divorced from his ex-wife Song Hye Kyo.
The rumor ended when Joong Ki's agency History D&C released a statement denying the claims. According to them, Song Joong Ki's relationship with the lawyer is not true, and all the news online was baseless. Due to this, the actor got his project schedules delayed.
Lee Dong Wook
Korean heartthrob Lee Dong Wook was also dragged in a fake scanda. Shincheonji Church has a bad image in South Korea due to its role in spreading COVID-19 in the said country. At that time, rumors about Lee Dong Wook being associated with the Shincheonji Church started circulating online.
Luckily, the actor's agency King Kong by Starship, was quick to address the fake rumors. According to their statement, they confirmed that it was false rumors. Furthermore, they announced their intention of taking strict legal action against the source of the baseless claims, comments that defamed Lee Dong Wook's character, and malicious slander. Right after the agency stood up for their artist, rumors disappeared quickly.
Lee Min Ki
A woman reported that actor Lee Min Ki had sexually assaulted her when they met at a club in 2016. The actor claimed he was innocent, but the public began questioning the actor's statement.
Fortunately, after a thorough investigation, the"My Liberation Notes" star was proven innocent, and the woman who filed the case apologized to the actor after being revealed to be innocent.
