"Alien" stars Kim Woo Bin, Kim Tae Ri, So Ji Sub, Ryu Jun Yeol, and more officially resumed their promotional activities after three members tested positive for COVID-19. 'Alien' Cast Returns to Meetings Fans for the Movie's Activities
CJ Entertainment, the distribution company behind "Alien," announced that Kim Woo Bin, Kim Tae Ri, So Ji Sub, Jo Woo Jin, and Director Choi Dong Hoon will attend the stage greeting scheduled today, August 4.
The activities will reportedly start at Lotte Cinema Suwon, followed by CGV Suwon, CGV Gwanggyo, Megabox Bundang, and CGV Pangyo.
To recall, CJ ENM announced on July 28 that scheduled activities for the movie "Alien" are halted indefinitely.
It came after Director Choi Dong Hoon tested positive for COVID-19, followed by So Ji Sub and Kim Tae Ri.
At the time, So Ji Sub's agency 51K shared that the actor "tested positive using a self-testing kit. He then took a PCR test and received a positive result."

The same goes for Kim Tae Ri, who also tested positive in the self-test kit and PCR.
"Kim Tae Ri halted all her scheduled activities, and she will self-quarantine in accordance with the guidelines of the government health authorities and concentrate on treatment. Currently, she has no special symptoms," Management mmm said as obtained by a news outlet.
Fortunately, other actors like Kim Woo Bin and Ryu Jun Yeol tested negative for the virus.

Helmed and written by Choi Dong Hoon of "The Thieves" and "Assassination," the latest adventure sci-fi movie is a two-part film that follows the mysterious portal that connects Taoists from the Goryeo Dynasty to the present time.
They are searching for the legendary sword while people in the current era and locating alien prisoners that've been imprisoned in a human's body.
Released on July 20, "Alien" part 1 stars Ryu Jun Yeol, Kim Woo Bin, and Kim Tae Ri as lead stars.
Joining the trio are So Ji Sub, Honey Lee, Jo Woo Jin, Yeom Jung Ah, and more.
Interestingly, Korean Films cited that the fantasy blockbuster movie with a production cost of 33 billion won, topped the box office on the weekend of its release.
"Alien" garnered 632,032 audiences with a total of 32.3 percent of sales. On top of it, the movie also hit its one million mark six days after it debuted.
Kim Tae Ri on Her Role as Lee Ahn in 'Alien'
According to an outlet, Kim Tae Ri discussed her role as Lee Ah, a woman who can shoot thunder.
The actress revealed that her clothes for "Alien" were not intended for women during the Goryeo Dynasty. Instead, it is worn by male officers in the Goryeo period.
As for her character, she described Lee Ahn as someone kind, honest, independent, smart, yet very emotional.
While "Alien'' Part 1 is currently flourishing in the Korean box office, the officials are yet to confirm the target release date of the movie's part 2.
