Jung Da Eun is the New Female Lead for 'Hunting Dogs'
As obtained by an outlet, Star News cited that Jung Da Eun has confirmed her appearance in Netflix's "Hunting Dogs," also known as "Bloodhounds."
The news comes after Kim Sae Ron, who has been controversial because of the drunk driving incident, steps down as the female lead, prompting the network to look for her substitute.
In addition, the report also mentioned that the story, which had the least amount of filming left, gave Cha Hyun Joo a death scene, while the new cast, Jung Da Eun, took on a similar character.
Joining Jung Da Eun in the upcoming webtoon-based series are Woo Do Hwan, Lee Sang Yi, veteran actor Heo Joon Ho and Park Sung Woong.

Directed and penned by Jason Kim of "The Divine Fury" and "Midnight Runners," "Hunting Dogs" depicts the story of three young men who get intertwined with a loan business.
Due to their ballooning debt, they attempted to escape but were being tracked by the loan sharks.
Who is Jung Da Eun?
The rising star is a 28-year-old actress who recently appeared in Netflix's "D.P" and also joined the cast of "Love Revolution" and "Secret Boutique."
Interestingly, "Hunting Dogs" is not the first project that she did with director Jason Kim as Jung da Eun also did a bit part in "Midnight Runners" as the runaway girl Hyo Jin and in "The Divine Fury" Eun Yong.
From Child Star to Controversial Actress
The Netflix series is said to be Kim Sae Ron's comeback to the big screen but was halted due to the controversy.
It can be recalled that the actress violated the Road Traffic Act in May and was booked for drunk driving.
As shared by Kim Sae Ron's agency, Gold Medalist Entertainment, the result says that the actress' blood alcohol content at the time of the incident was "approximately 0.2 percent, a level high enough for her driver's license to be revoked."
In the same report, the label shared that the former child star "is in the midst of reflecting deeply on her clear wrongdoings."
Moreover, she is also "doing her best" to cooperate and "compensate for the damages caused by accident as much as she can."
Due to the controversy, she has stepped down from two upcoming projects.
Besides Netflix's "Hunting Dogs," Kim Sae Ron also withdrew from SBS' "Trolley" and was replaced by up-and-coming actress Jung Soo Bin.
