Girls' Generation member and actress Choi Sooyoung shared her experience working with Ji Chang Wook and confessed she's a fan of the K-drama heartthrob.

Ahead of its premiere on August 10, the "If You Wish Upon Me" cast gathered and talked about their series and teamwork on set.

Choi Sooyoung is Huge Fan of Ji Chang Wook

During the cast members' recent interview, Ji Chang Wook shared his experience working with idol-actress Choi Sooyoung. According to him, he had lots of fun filming the drama because of her, who showed her bubbly side that gave energy to everyone on the set.

In response to him, Sooyoung said, "I have always been a (big) fan of Ji Chang Wook, so I got very excited to work with him."

The "Squad 38" actress added that Ji Chang Wook is the best partner she ever worked with.

She praised her co-star by revealing his real personality on set. The celebrity added that Ji Chang Wook is very understanding and supportive of her whenever she improvised scenes with him.

'If You Wish Upon Me' Director Shares Chemistry of Actors on Set

New rising star Won Ji An, who made her appearance in Netflix's "DP" along with Jung Hae In, is also part of the cast. The rookie actress shared that Ji Chang Wook helped her a lot while filming the drama. He gave her heartfelt advice everytime she was struggling.

Director Kim Yong Wan also got real and exposed the atmosphere on set and the chemistry of the actors. He expressed his affection for the actors who showed their sincerity to each other on and off cam.

He also praised veteran actor Sung Dong Il for always taking care of those around him.

Before the interview concluded, a production team member shared a short comment about the soon-to-release drama "If You Wish Upon Me."

The staff described the series, which will follow the story of young people who wish to escape from melancholy and start on a journey filled with happiness and hope. The production team hopes that the heartwarming stories of each character will resonate with viewers.
