With his 15-year career in the industry, the versatile star looked back on his journey as an actor and launched his production company Hard Cut and his own one-man agency, Company On.
Ahead of his movie "Another Record: Lee Je Hoon'' in collaboration with Seezn, the 38-year-old star did a casual interview with Director Yoon Dan Bi, the woman behind the movie "Moving On" and Lee Je Hoon's new film.
Lee Je Hoon on True Reason for Starting Production Company Hard Cut
As obtained by a local media outlet, the "Taxi Driver" star recalled his experience filming his debut film "Truth Litmus," a short film released in 2006. He admitted that he had "fears while acting" at the time, but managed to divert them into "courage" to motivate him to continue.
Lo and behold, Lee Jee Hoon is now among the top stars in K-dramaland known for his versatility, may it be action, drama, or rom-com.
As the interview continues, the "Where Stars Land" star revealed why he chose to be an actor and the reason for setting up a production company.
"The reason I started acting was because I liked movies so much, and when I imagined how I could do it for the rest of my life, it was film production," he explained.
Lee Je Hoon solidified his acting career after landing the role of Gi Tae in the 2011 psychological drama movie "Bleak Night" where he won Best New Actor at the Blue Dragon Film Awards and Grand Bell Awards.

Following this, he once again impressed viewers with his flexibility as an actor after joining Bae Suzy in the 2012 film "Architecture 101."

What We Know So Far About Seezn's 'Another Record: Lee Je Hoon'
Directed by Yoon Dan Bi, the upcoming movie "Another Record: Lee Je Hoon" is a documentary highlighting the success of the award-winning actor, director, and producer.
It can be recalled that Lee Je Hoon also had his directorial debut in the 2021 movie "Blue Happiness" with Jung Jae In as the lead star.
According to Korea Joongang Daily, the actor hints at what to expect in the upcoming film.
"It was a unique experience to film a cinematic real documentary," he said, adding "It gave me the opportunity to look back on myself and make good memories with people around me."
Apart from Lee Je Hoon, Park Jung Min and Lee Dong Hwi will also appear as a guest in the upcoming film.
"Another Record: Lee Je Hoon'' is slated to premiere on August 18 exclusively on Seezn.
