Over Twitter, netizens and fans were raving about the sneak peek of the Hallyu star's comeback to the small screen as he plays the revenge-driven Jin Do Joon.
Helmed by Jeong Dae Yun of "W," "She Was Pretty," "I am Not a Robot," and "King2Hearts," and penned by "Sungkyunkwan Scandal" writer Kim Tae Hee, the upcoming series is based on the web novel of the same name that depicts the story of a loyal employee who was betrayed by his chaebol boss.
Netizens Find Song Joong Ki's Look-Alike for his New Role
As JTBC gears up for the much-awaited release of "The Youngest Son of a Conglomerate" netizens find an uncanny resemblance of Song Joong Ki's new role to a K-drama villain.
In a report cited by a media outlet, fans expressed that the actor's new character looked quite similar to "The Penthouse's" Joo Dan Tae, played by Uhm Ki Joon.
Based on the photos circulated online, Song Joong Ki looked dashing in a sleek suit and tie and dons classic eyeglasses.
Interestingly, this is also Joo Dan Tae's iconic look in the K-drama trilogy.
With this, fans made hilarious and somehow creative comments saying that Song Joong Ki's new character harbors a "Vincenzo" face but Joo Dan Tae's outfit.
Others even mentioned that he could pass as the K-drama villain's younger brother.

In "The Youngest Son of a Conglomerate" Song Joong Ki took the role of Yoon Hyun Woo who worked for Jin Yang Chul (Lee Sung Min,) the CEO of a conglomerate for over 10 years.
Despite his loyalty to his boss, he was framed for embezzlement and murdered by his men. Interestingly, tables have turned for Yoon Hyun Woo after he was reborn to be his boss' youngest son, Jin Do Joon.

In the Song Joong Ki-led K-drama, he is teaming up with Shin Hyun Bin, who plays prosecutor Seo Min Young of the anti-corruption department.
