Jung Ho Yeon may not bag the Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama Series at the Emmy Award 2022 but she won the hearts of media and fans with her head-turning dress on the red carpet.
The South Korean star earned a nod at the prestigious ceremony for her show-stopping performance for the Netflix series "Squid Game" where she took the role of North Korean defector Kang Sae Byeok.
The model-actress was among the nominees at the 74th Primetime Emmy Awards along with contenders Patricia Arquette (Severance,) Christina Ricci (Yellowjackets,) Rhea Seehorn (Better Call Saul,) J. Smith-Cameron (Succession,) Sarah Snook (Succession,) and (Sydney Sweeney (Euphoria) but it was "Ozark" star Julia Garner who took home the trophy.
Despite this, Jung Ho Yeon was hailed as one of the best dressed during the ceremony.

The model actress stunned in a Louis Vuitton dress where she served as the brand's global ambassador.
Jung Ho Yeon sizzled in a pastel-colored embellished dress with a high slit detail that showed off her long legs and paired it with black strappy heels and a mini handbag that complimented the whole look.
The breakout star capped off the look with a sleek bob hairstyle and floral detail at the center.
Interestingly, Jung Ho Yeon's Emmy Awards 2022 look is a homage to Korean culture.
Her dress is inspired by a traditional style while her bag is similar to the Korean "bokjori," a Korean festival object to wish good luck in the New Year.
This is not the first time that Jung Ho Yeon incorporated Korean culture in her red carpet ensembles.
It can be recalled that during the SAG Awards 2021, where she made history as the first Korean to win Best Actress along with Lee Jung Jae as Best Actor, Jung Ho Yeon graced the annual ceremony donning a hand-embroidered Louis Vuitton dress with silver beaded details inspired from the Korean culture.
On top of it, Jung Ho Yeon's red carpet look also featured a traditional accessory known as daenggi which she matched with her sleek long braid.

After the continued success of "Squid Game" Jung Ho Yeon is making her Hollywood debut playing one of the main characters in "The Governesses" directed by renowned filmmaker Joe Talbot.
The South Korean star will headline the upcoming film along with Lily-Rose Depp and Renate Reinsve.
