MBC confirmed Girls' Generation Sooyoung and Yoon Park's have been cast to star in the newest romantic comedy series about an actress and an ordinary man.
The two are announces to lead the series as production reveals plans to release in the later part of the year.
Sooyoung and Yoon Park To Headline New MBC Drama
Girls' Generation Sooyoung and Yoon Park are slated to work in a new romantic-comedy drama together for the first time!
Broadcast network MBC announced that the two will lead "Please Send a Fan Letter" (literal title).
The drama follows the uneventful meeting of an actress who faces the biggest crisis yet in her life and a single father who protects his daughter's heart by writing fake replies to her fan letters.
Girls' Generation Sooyoung transforms into Han Kang Hee, an actress who is in crisis because of a fan letter.
Meanwhile, Yoon Park plays the role of Bang Jung Suk, an unmarried man raising his sick daughter alone.

Through the series, Girls' Generation Sooyoung and Yoon Park are expected to helm a profound drama through their sincere acting and immersive synchronization with their roles.
The drama will be directed by "From Now On, Showtime!" director Jung Sang Hee who guarantees to greet the viewers with a heartwarming series.
"Please Send a Fan Letter" begins its filming this September, and aims to release the work in November on MBC.

The singer-actress continues to wow the viewers with her brilliant acting performances in KBS2's "If You Wish Upon Me" with Ji Chang Wook.
It tells the story of a man who enters a hospice for community service, and fulfills the last wishes of the patients throughout its episodes.
Girls' Generation Sooyoung transforms into a nurse with a bright and bubbly personality, who works along with Ji Chang Wook in making the patients' wishes come true.
