Cha Eun Woo is teaming up with Park Gyu Young for the new drama "A Good Day to Be a Dog."

Following the singer-actor's confirmation, the "Sweet Home" star has confirmed her appearance in the series.

Park Gyu Young Stars in 'A Good Day to Be a Dog'

According to News 1 Korea, Park Gyu Young will be among the lead stars of a forthcoming romance drama, playing the role of Han Hae Na.

In "A Good Day to Be a Dog" Han Hae Na plays a school teacher who is described as pretty, smart, and someone who has a pleasant personality.

However, her once quiet life turned upside down after crossing paths with Jin Seo Won, played by Cha Eun Woo.

As for the ASTRO member, Jin Seo Won lived his whole life in trauma after dealing with a sorrowful past.

Behind his good-looking face lies an aloof personality; however, things will change once he meets Han Hae Na.

Joining Cha Eun Woo and Park Gyu Young is "Money Heist: Korea" star Lee Hyun Woo along with Lee Seo E.

"A Good Day to Be a Dog" is based on the webtoon of the same name directed by Kim Dae Woong of "Start-Up the Engine" series.

It depicts a story of a woman who is cursed to transform into a dog every time he kisses a man.

Interestingly, the only person who could help her remove the curse is the man who is afraid of dogs due to an awful experience.

Following the confirmation of lead stars, "A Good Day to Be a Dog" will begin its production in October.

The 29-year-old actress is set to headline multiple K-dramas in the upcoming year.

Apart from her team-up with ASTRO's Cha Eun Woo, Park Gyu Young is also reprising her role as the badass bassist Yoon Ji Su, who is among the survivors at the Green Home apartment.

After months of waiting, Netflix officially confirmed that "Sweet Home 2" will be returning with a mix of old and new cast members.

Park Gyu Young joins alongside Song Kang, Lee Si Young, Lee Jin Wook, and Go Min Si while viewers will get to see Yoo Oh Sung, Oh Jung Se, Jung Jinyoung, and Kim Moo Yeol playing new characters.

Interestingly, besides "Sweet Home 2" the streaming giant also announced that "Sweet Home" will also have its season 3.

As noted by an outlet, the production team and director Lee Eung Bok, who also worked with season 1, hint that the upcoming sequel "will have a new location as the backdrop, and the technical details that we couldn't refine in Season 1 will be further honed in Season 2."

While "Sweet Home 2 and 3" are in the works, Park Gyu Young is also teaming up with CNBLUE's Kang Min Hyuk, along with Lee Chung Ah, Lee Dong Gun, and Jun Hyosung for another Netflix series "Celebrity."

The upcoming K-dramas is her follow-up series after "Dali and the Cocky Prince" with Kim Min Jae.
