Thanks to her impressive performance in her debut drama "Snowdrop," BLACKPINK Jisoo receives high praise and a new prestigious award.

The singer-actress is named Most Outstanding Actress in the Drama category at the 2022 Seoul Drama Awards on September 22 in Seoul.

Hosted by singer-actress Jung Eunji and Joo Sang Wook, the Seoul Drama Awards celebrated the success of newly released dramas, top notch stars and even rookie artists who graced the screen in the past year.

BLACKPINK Jisoo, who portrayed the role of Eun Young Ro in "Snowdrop," was selected with a total of 41.6% votes from Hallyu fans all over the world, proving her success and popularity.

The singer-actress thanked her fans through a special celebratory video, saying, "Receiving the award is such a great honor. Thank you to everyone who loved Eun Young Ro."

The "Snowdrop" actress also hinted at her future projects, promising to meet her beloved fans with greater works.

Will There Be 'Snowdrop' Season 2?

"Snowdrop" took the Hallyu world by storm with its thought-provoking storyline, which caused many controversies during its broadcast.

In spite of it, lead actors Jung Hae In and BLACKPINK Jisoo owned their roles, hooking fans from its premiere to its conclusion. While the fans wept during its conclusion due to the bittersweet ending, they can't seem to get enough of the HaeSoo Couple.

Fans are wondering whether the two stars will return to the small screen in 2023 with a renewed season of "Snowdrop."

However, there are no discussions regarding the drama. The director of the series, Jo Hyun Tak, said that a new season is unlikely to happen as there is no story concerning Jung Hae In and BLACKPINK Jisoo's characters to tell anymore.

What's Next For HaeSoo This 2023

BLACKPINK Jisoo recently returned to the Hallyu stage with her group's new album "Born Pink," delivering new adrenaline-inducing tracks including "Pink Venom," "Shut Down," "Tally" and more.

In addition to that, the group is gearing up for their first world tour in a while entitled "Born Pink."

Meanwhile, Jung Hae In reprises his role as a military police in his blockbuster Netflix series "D.P." with Koo Kyo Hwan and Son Seok Koo.
