'Extraordinary Attorney Woo's' Kang Ki Young To Possibly Star in 'Uncanny Counter' Season 2
After Kim Sejeong, more actors might star in the long-awaited sequel of the hit K-series "Uncanny Counter."
According to Joy News on October 12, "Extraordinary Attorney Woo" actor Kang Ki Young is courted to join the cast of "Uncanny Counter" Season 2.
In response to the news, the actor's agency confirmed that he received an offer to star in the series, and is currently reviewing it. Though the team didn't reveal what role Kang Ki Young is about to play, many are already looking forward to his possible participation.

Kang Ki Young is gaining more recognition after he made an excellent performance in the record-breaking ENA drama "Extraordinary Attorney Woo."
Meanwhile, he is also expected to reprise his role in the forthcoming second sequel of "Extraordinary Attorney Woo" in 2024, along with the original lineup.
Jin Sun Kyu To Possibly Play As Villain in 'Uncanny Counter' Season 2
Apart from Kang Ki Young, Jo Byeong Gyu might return in "Uncanny Counter" Season 2, along with Yoo Joon Sang and Yeom Hye Ran.
Joining the list of stars who might appear in the action-fantasy series is "Space Sweepers" and "Confidential Assignment 2" actor Jin Sun Kyu.
Based on the news, Jin Sun Kyu might play the character of a villain. Hence, there's no confirmed news yet whether the mentioned actors accept their given roles.
'Uncanny Counter' Season 2 Will Not Air on OCN
Aside from the possible new casting, the company to produce the series also changed. The second installment of the drama will no longer be aired on OCN, as it is already set to premiere on tvN.
Furthermore, once the production team has already finished the casting process, they will immediately proceed with filming the drama and aim to release the series in 2023.
"Uncanny Counter" is an action-adventure series based on a webtoon that follows the story of demon hunters also called "counters," they disguise themselves as employees of a noodle restaurant and hunt down evil spirits who have come to Earth in pursuit of eternal life.
