Amid the controversy surrounding Park Min Young, Lee Seung Gi's agency, top star Youn Yuh Jung is rumored to leave Hook Entertainment.
The news comes after various media outlets raised speculations that the Academy Award winner is parting ways with the agency after working with them for a long time.
However, Hook Entertainment addressed the issue and clarified news about the veteran actress.
Is Youn Yuh Jung Leaving Hook Entertainment?
The veteran actress is one of the renowned stars in Korea who made a historic win in a prestigious award-giving body.
Youn Yuh Jung is the first Korean actress to win an Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress, as well as SAG Award for Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Supporting Role, and the same category at BAFTA Award.
The massive achievement is due to her amazing performance in the film "Minari" where she played Korean grandmother Soonja.
It was followed by another blockbuster series "Pachinko" a novel based historical fiction that depicts the journey of a Korean family who immigrated to Japan.
Apart from the interesting storyline, the Apple TV series also has a roster of star-studded cast, including South Korean heartthrob Lee Min Ho, Jin Ha, Kim Min Ha, and more.
Interestingly, "Pachinko" would return for season 2, but the cast lineup is yet to be announced.
