After almost two years of waiting, finally, Lee Je Hoon shared a glimpse of the much awaited sequel, "Taxi Driver 2."

The lead star took to social media as he teases fans with updates on the set of his upcoming K-drama.

Lee Je Hoon captivated viewers with his mysterious character in SBS' "Taxi Driver" after landing the role of Kim Do Ki.

In the drama, Kim Do Ki is a Special Forces officer whose parents git murdered by a serial killer.

However, the grieving son meets Rainbow Taxi Chairman Jang Sung Chul and recruits him as their team leader.

Interestingly, the Rainbow Taxi is not an ordinary company. It is a secret organization that protects and avenges victims from their perpetrators.

After the first season gained massive praise from viewers, "Taxi Driver" is back with season 2.

Lee Je Hoon's Instagram Features Sneak Peek of 'Taxi Driver 2'

Over his Instagram, the actor posted a series of photos during the filming production of "Taxi Driver 2."

Reprising his role as Kim Do Ki, Lee Je Hoon was seen immersed with his role and was spotted taking a look at his scenes while donning the iconic Kim Do Ki costume.

Interestingly, he expressed how thrilled he is for the viewers to watch the second season.

"I'm working hard on Kim Do Ki's role. Look forward to Model Taxi 2," Lee Je Hoon's Instagram caption reads.

After a successful finale by wrapping up the season with its personal best of 15.3 percent viewership rating, "Taxi Driver" is among the most watched series in SBS for 2021.

With this, the network has decided to renew the mystery crime K-drama with familiar faces.

Following the official announcement regarding "Taxi Driver 2" Lee Je Hoon confirms his appearance alongsideKim Eui Sung as Rainbow Taxi Chairman Jang Sung Chul, Pyo Ye Jin as tech expect Ahn Go Eun and the company's mechanic Jang Hyuk JIn and Bae Yoo Ram as Choi Kyung Koo and Park Jin-Eon

Unfortunately, Esom, who took the role of fearless Prosecutor Kang Ha Na won't be able to join "Taxi Driver 2" due to conflict with her schedule.

Amid this, viewers are looking forward to who will be her replacement and the new villain in the upcoming season.
