Rookie Actress Oh Ye Ju Says RAIN Did Ad Libs in ‘Under the Queen’s Umbrella’
Oh Ye Ju dishes on her experience filming her first K-drama "Under the Queen's Umbrella" and working with her agency CEO RAIN.
The rookie actress did an interview with SPOTV News where she spoke about her thoughts about her career and being under the RAIN Company.
Oh Ye Ju on RAIN's All Out Support for her First K-drama
At the height of the historical K-drama, Oh Ye Ju was among the cast who gained the public's attention. She took on the role of Lady Chung Ha, who then became the Crown Princess after marrying Seongnam played by Moon Sang Min.
Apart from her charm, viewers also lauded her chemistry with Moon Sang Min who took the role of the new Crown Prince.
During the interview, she mentioned how the agency CEO, RAIN, went all out to support her.
"My CEO always supports me," the newbie actress says as obtained by an outlet, praising the idol actor for his encouragement and mentioning that RAIN gave her "lots of good advice" before she joined "Under the Queen's Umbrella."

"I was shy because I didn't have much experience, but he told me to be confident. His words really cheered me up," Oh Ye Ju added, and even revealed that RAIN often calls her while on the set and encourages her.
It can be recalled that RAIN made a surprise appearance in "Under the Queen's Umbrella" taking the role of a handsome passerby and having a scene with Oh Ye Ju.
"We laughed a lot during the filming. We also practiced the scene together at our company" she revealed.
Moreover, Oh Ye Ju also shared how the idol-actor did some adlibs for the scene that "made everyone laugh so hard."
Oh Ye Ju Reacts on RAIN's Introduction
The 18-year-old budding star is the first actress under R.A.I.N Company.
As the interview continues, she says that she "felt burdened" by it and often wonders if she does well.
" I joined the company with no acting experience and had to learn everything step by step from the beginning," she added, adding that she was able to adapt quickly thanks to the agency CEO, RAIN, who took care of her like a family.
In 2020, RAIN made a special announcement on his Instagram that made people think that it was about his wife Kim Tae Hee, or the actor might be welcoming their third child.
However, he then revealed that it was about the recruitment of Oh Ye Ju.
For the actress, she said that she could still remember the reactions of the people.
"I think the CEO wanted to introduce me in his own way," she said, adding that she even heard someone contacted RAIN and congratulated him for his wife's pregnancy.
Apart from "Under the Queen's Umbrella" Oh Ye Ju also appeared in "From Now On, Showtime!" and "Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha" in episode 6.
