Honey Lee dishes on his pregnancy and childbirth journey, and how BTS' songs help her with her delivery period.
The beauty queen-turned-actress appeared as a guest on tvN's "Yoo Quiz on the Block" to promote her movie "Phantom."
Besides detailing her experience with the production of her new film, Honey Lee revealed her unique childbirth story.
BTS' Song Played Big Role in Honey Lee's Childbirth Journey
She revealed that her due date was at 40 weeks but her baby wasn't coming out after 40 weeks. To help her push out the baby easily, she shared a different and entertaining way to do it.
"I decided to play BTS songs for 4 to 5 hours until 2:00 AM and just tried my best to (try and bring the baby down)," she said as obtained by a media outlet.
Honey Lee announced her pregnancy in January 2022, one month after her wedding to her non-celebrity husband.
She gave birth to a healthy baby girl in June with her agency, Saram Entertainment expressed gratitude to fans who gave the actress warm support throughout her pregnancy journey.
The 39-year-old beauty welcomed 2023 with a new film "Phantom" along with Park So Dam and Park Hae Soo, Sol Kyung Gu, and more.
The action-espionage movie, released on January 18, is set in 1933 and focuses on five suspects who are deemed as spies for the anti-Japanese resistance.
Interestingly, besides her new movie, Honey Lee is making a comeback to the small screen with the historical mystery drama "Flowers that Bloom at Night."
It will be helmed by Jang Tae Yoo of "Lovers of the Red Sky," "My Love from the Star," and "Hyena."
