Fans of Yoo Ah In plan to take legal action after the actor got involved in drug-related issues.

On February 9, the actor's agency, United Artists Agency (UAA), responded to reports about the actor's alleged use of propofol.

In a brief statement, the label confirmed that the "Seoul Vibe" star is being investigated for habitual use of the sedative drug known as propofol, which is only used in a hospital setting.

Despite the ongoing probe, the talent management said that the top star is "actively cooperating in all investigations," adding that they also "plan to proactively address the aspects that are a problem."

While the investigation is still in process, fans called out the investigation for "violating human rights."

According to a media outlet, Yoo Ah In's supporters doubt the real intention of the probe.

Days after the news broke, Yoo Ah In's drug test result came in, and tested positive for marijuana.

Like propofol one major effect of marijuana is giving a user an experience of a pleasant euphoria and sense of relaxation. Some common effects include altered perception, heightened sensory, especially with brighter colors, and increased appetite.

As for his hair strand test, Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency released a press conference updating the public regarding the actor's pending tests. In a report, authorities said that National Forensic Service (NFS) will take 2 to 3 weeks to release the result.

To recall, Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency's drug crime investigation team collected urine and hair samples after Yoo arrived from the United States on February 5.

On the other hand, while the probe is ongoing, the actor is barred from leaving the country.
