Apocalyptic-Themed K-Drama 'Duty After School' Gives Sneak Peek of Students' Hellish Journey
The webtoon-based novel "Duty After School" is finally having a drama adaptation! On February 20, TVING dropped a new teaser trailer for the soon-to-release program.
The thriller series was created by Ilkwon Ha. Based on the provided synopsis, students were trained to be a platoon of soldiers to fight against unknown objects.
The students are obliged to do an extracurricular activity. Little did they don't know, it will be mandatory military service and they will be put in an actual war. They train how to use guns to protect themselves against enemies.

In the drama, the teenagers become the last chance humanity has to stay alive. The story takes place after a slimy alien race called "cells" invades Earth and begins to become a threat to people.
Unfortunately, in the middle of the battles, the military force runs short.
With no other choice, the government starts imposing and enlisting the mandatory service of high school and university students. These teenagers are trained before being deployed.

The drama introduces young and talented stars that will provide fresh performances. The lineup includes Kim Ki Hae, Choi Moon Hee, Kim Su Gyeom, Lee Yeon, Kwon Eun Bin, Moon Sang Min, Woo Min Kyu, and more.
"Welcome to Waikiki 2" actor Shin Hun Soo takes the role of Lee Chun Ho, a platoon leader who is strict and reserved with his colleagues.
Joining him is "True Beauty" star Lim Se Mi, a homeroom teacher who keeps her students safe.
"Duty After School" is scheduled to meet the viewers starting in March on TVING.
