The 9-episode series introduced the best of the best in fitness and sports as the Netflix survival show gathered Olympians, professional and national athletes, YouTubers, models, and more. With a cash prize of 300 million KRW (245,000 USD), the hundred participants delivered show-stopping scenes per episode in hopes of being the first winner of the program.
A lot of participants caught the public's attention. From sports legends like Yang Hak Seon, Choo Sung Hoon, and Yun Sung Bin to fan-favorites Jang Eun Sil and more, one female contestant made heads turn as she showed off her remarkable physique.
During her recent interview with BBC News Korea, as obtained by a news portal, Kim Chun Ri revealed her thoughts about having a one-on-one match with MMA fighter Park Hyung Geun and being different from other women.
What Prompted the 'Physical: 100' Contestant Kim Chun Ri to Start Bodybuilding
Jaws dropped when Korean bodybuilder Kim Chun Ri stunned her fellow participants, even her male opponents with her solid body.
The 35-year-old athlete made a name for herself in the world of bodybuilding and bagged numerous awards including PCA Asia/world champion and PCA Europa bodybuilding champion.
Interestingly, what prompted her to start bodybuilding was after seeing the movie "Terminator."

Kim Chun Ri confessed that she dreamed of becoming a bodybuilder because of Linda Hamilton's role in the hit film where she played Sarah Connor, the killer's primary target.
The Korean bodybuilder fell in love with the character's badass personality, especially when Sarah Connor holds a gun. With bigger plans for herself, she revealed running away from home after she graduated from high school.

She knew that she wanted to be a health trainer in the future, so she started getting an aerobics certificate.
"Why do I have to live while not being able to do what I want to do?" she asked herself, adding, "I wanted to tell my family about it. I became independent like that, but it was difficult to adapt."
From then on, Kim Chun Ri said that she became a lot stronger and thought that she would be able to withstand anything.
After winning the Physical Culture Association (PCA) championship in Europe, she became unstoppable. Being a bodybuilder, her physique grew significantly and was quite different from normal women.
However, despite being proud of her body, Kim Chun Ri said that she experienced being stared at while in public. The worst part is being harassed due to her large figure.
"There are people who suddenly touch my thighs when I'm standing, or come in with my hands without asking," she confessed. "I enlarged a specific part of my body and sexually harassed me in comments."
Kim Chun Ri's Thoughts After Match With MMA Fighter Park Hyung Geun
The 35-year-old athlete was chosen by Park Hyung Geun as his opponent in the one-on-one death match.
However, their match sparked anger not just from her fellow participants but also among viewers after the MMA fighter tripped Kim Chun Ri's leg and pressed her chest with his knee.
Despite losing, Kim Chun Ri said that she did her best because she "participated as bodybuilder Kim Chun Ri, not female bodybuilder Kim Chun Ri."
