The actress is preparing for her first historical-romance series, "The Secret Romantic Guesthouse." Ahead of her comeback, she appeared as a guest in the famous reality show "Point of Omniscient Interfere," also known as "The Manager," in the episode released on March 18.
There, the "Revenge of Others" actress revealed her daily life behind the camera. She also mentioned that she was not sure if her acting was scary enough, but the director cast her in the drama after seeing her smile.
Shin Ye Eun Praised For Performance in 'The Glory' + Reveals She Had Nightmares About It
In the clip provided in the show, she was spotted at the filming set of her new drama "The Secret Romantic Guesthouse," alongside co-stars Ryeo Un, Kang Hoon, and Jung Gun Joo. They were on a break and having a meal together.
While enjoying their food, she was complimented by her colleagues for her performance as young Park Yeonjin in the record-breaking series "The Glory."
In return, the actress shared that she had a hard time filming the said drama because she was impacted by her character's villainous act, to the point that she was already having nightmares. She revealed:
"I am aware that it was all acting and fictional, but from time to time, I came out of the character while filming. For instance, I knew the hair iron was cold, but seeing my opposite crying in pain made me think 'What am I doing now?' and that's when I made a blooper."
She added:
"After filming, I went home, and I had nightmares. I could not sleep without earplugs because I was so disturbed due to the dark character."
Meanwhile, Shin Ye Eun is making her immediate return, starting March 20. She is set to headline SBS' "The Secret Romantic Guesthouse," where she teams up with Ryeo Un, Kang Hoon, and Jung Gun Joo.
The actress will transform into a sweet and captivating landlady, who is in search of the mystery happening in her apartment.
Furthermore, the drama occupies the Monday and Tuesday slots at 10 p.m. (KST).
