Ra Mi Ran’s Tough Love Transforms Lee Do Hyun Into Skilled Prosecutor in ‘The Good Bad Mother’

'The Good Bad Mother' Shows Glimpse of Lee Do Hyun, Ra Mi Ran Role

The long wait is over for fans as they will finally get to see the award-winning actress' chemistry with the young star as they play mother and son in the upcoming K-drama.

Helmed by Shim Na Yeon of "Beyond Evil" director and penned by "Extreme Job" screenwriter Bae So Young, "The Good Bad Mother" is a comedy-life series that depicts the story of a single mom who chose to be a terrible mother in the eyes of her son. That is because she wanted him to strive in life and not be on the same path and misfortune as her.

Ra Mi Ran, who takes on the role of Jin Young Soon, considered raising her son, Choi Kang Ho, as one of her achievements in life after he became a skilled prosecutor. Unfortunately, because of a mysterious incident, Kang Ho lost his memory and returns to his seven-year-old self.

In the latest teaser shared by JTBC, the broadcast network illustrates the chemistry of Ra Mi Ran and Lee Do Hyun for their mother and son tandem.

Besides Ra Mi Ran and Lee Do Hyun, "The Good Bad Mother" includes a roster of talented stars who will join the duo.

Ahn Eun Jin, who plays Kang Ho's childhood friend Lee Mi Joo, joins the cast as one of the lead stars.

Meanwhile, the supporting actors include Yoo In Soo of "All of Us Are Dead," Jung Woong In, Choi Moo Sung of "Prison Playbook," and more.

In addition, award-winning actor Jo Jin Woong will also appear in a cameo role. However, his character is yet to be announced.

As for the premiere date, "The Good Bad Mother" is scheduled to be released on April 26 with a total of 16 episodes.

Viewers will get to watch Ra Mi Ran and Lee Do Hyun's team-up via JTBC, Netflix for global viewers, which will air every Wednesday and Thursday.

This will be Lee Do Hyun's next drama after the smash hit series "The Glory" with Song Hye Kyo.
