Lee Dong Hwi expresses his desire to work with Lee Je Hoon in the future.

The versatile star was recently interviewed to talk about his recently concluded K-drama "Big Bet 2."

The 8 part-episode action crime series focuses on the life of legendary businessman Cha Mu Sik played by the veteran actor Choi Min Sik.

Without much fortune and connections, he managed to become the king of casinos in the Philippines.

However, amid his success, Min Shik gets caught up in a murder case, making him face the ultimate challenge of his life.

In the action crime series, Lee Dong Hwi took the role of Choi Min Shik's right hand, Yang Jung Pal.

Lee Dong Hwi Reveals Why He Wants to Work with Lee Je Hoon

During his interview, he was also asked about the possibility of "Big Bet" returning for a third installment.

Lee Dong Hwi says that he is not sure if the officials will release another season since "there's no framework for season 3."

Interestingly, "Big Bet" is Choi Min Shik's return to the small screen after 25 years.

The veteran actor's last K-drama was the 1997 romance series "Love and Separation" with Jo Min Soo.

As noted by a media outlet, he says that working in a series is very different from filming for movies.

According to the veteran star, working in a series has a lot of advantages since it could show the "character's narrative in great detail."

"Big Bet" first premiered in December 2022 under Hulu, followed by the second season in February 2023.
