Park Seo Joon's agency confirms the actor's appearance in the upcoming episode on IU's YouTube channel.
The actor, who will star alongside the idol-actress will showcase their on-screen chemistry ahead of their movie "Dream."
'IU's Pallete' Will Feature Park Seo Joon as Guest
At the height of the pandemic, Park Seo Joon and IU, along with their co-stars and whole team, started filming "Dream."
Despite the setback brought by delays due to health restrictions, the movie, helmed and written by Lee Byung Hun of "Extreme Job," "Be Melodramatic" and the upcoming series "Chicken Nugget," the forthcoming movie depicts the inspiring story of a group of amateur soccer players who joined the Homeless World Cup for the first time.
Park Seo Joon took on the role of Yoon Hong Dae, a once-famous professional soccer player who ends up being the coach of the rookie players after being on disciplinary probation.
Meanwhile, he meets producing director Lee So Min, played by IU, who is set to launch a documentary about the dream team.
Joining IU and Park Seo Joon, the "Dream" cast includes "Money Heist Korea" star Lee Hyun Woo, Park Hyung Soo, Yang Hyun Min, and more.
Interestingly, Kang Ha Neul will also join the upcoming movie through a special appearance. "Dream" is slated to premiere on April 26.
Besides the sports-themed movie, Park Seo Joon will also join the cast of Marvel which will be his first Hollywood project.
In addition, he will also headline an upcoming series with Han So Hee for "Gyeongseong Creature."
As for IU, the idol actress will have her K-drama comeback through "You Have Done Well."
She will be working alongside Park Bo Gum and veteran stars Moon So Ri and Park Hae Joon as their older version.
