Park Eun Bin is not letting criticism steal her thunder as the award-winning actress continues to spread positive vibes on social media.

The 30-year-old star made headlines after she took home the Daesang, or Grand Prize, at the 59th Baeksang Arts Awards.

The recognition was for her amazing performance in the ENA series' "Extraordinary Attorney Woo," where she took on the role of 27-year-old Woo Young Woo, who was diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder. Despite her condition, she managed to graduate at the top of her class and entered a prestigious law firm.

Days after the Baeksang Arts Awards 2023, Park Eun Bin appears to be on cloud 9, expressing her gratitude to everyone who supported and cheered for her.

With this, the newly-crowned Daesang winner seemed unbothered by the criticisms raised by cultural critic Kim Gap Soo after he criticized Park Eun Bin's Baeksang Arts Awards 2023 acceptance speech.

In a report obtained by a media outlet, Kim Gap Soo appeared in the May 1 broadcast of "Jung Young Jin, Choi Wook's Maebul Show," where they talked about the recently-held Baeksang Arts Awards.

Known as the Oscars of South Korea, the event is one of the most prestigious award-giving bodies in the country, where deserving artists and individuals are lauded for their contributions in film, television, and theater.

After the presenter announced this year's Daesang, Park Eun Bin seemed surprised upon hearing her name.

Still shocked by the recognition, the actress took the opportunity to thank several people who helped her win the award. It included the "Extraordinary Attorney Woo" team and, of course, the viewers who showed their support.

Moreover, Park Eun Bin also mentioned that becoming an actress is her lifelong dream.

"When I was young, I thought that if I didn't give up on my dream of being an actor, it would be nice to become an adult who could win the grand prize someday," she said, thanking everyone for making her dreams come true.

However, cultural critic Kim Gap Soo was not impressed with how the actress handled herself on stage. He pointed out how Park Eun Bin bowed numerous times and was too emotional during her speech.

"Even if it's not an awards ceremony, you should not trigger emotions in front of others in any case," he explained, as cited by a media outlet.

At one point, he even compared the actress from Song Hye Kyo, who won Best Actress for her role in "The Glory."

"Since her name was called, she bowed more than 30 times before she walked on stage. What kind of manners is this? He said, adding, "If you're over 18, you need to have dignity. Learn from Song Hye Kyo."
