Cha Joo Young Prepares to Have Her Historical Drama Debut With 'Wongyeong'
Cha Joo Young is rumored to star in a historical drama. On May 9, her agency Ghost Studio confirmed that the actress received a casting offer to appear in "Wongyeong," and is positively discussing the potential project.
"Wongyeong" depicts the story of King Taejong and Queen Wongyeong, who rule the new dynasty.
In 2022, she played the role of Yang Yang in Watcha's "Alice, the Final Weapon." In the same year, she shared the frame with Lee Joon Gi in the mystery-revenge series "Again My Life."
Cha Joo Young also appeared in "Chimera," "The Spies Who Loved Me, " "Wok of Love," "Jugglers," "The Gentlemen of Wolgyesu Tailor Shop," "Cheese in the Trap," "Dr. Frost," and "My Unfortunate Boyfriend."
