'Bloodhounds' To Premiere on Netflix This Coming June
A media outlet announced on May 12 that the long-awaited series "Bloodhounds" will make its debut on June 9 on the famous streaming platform Netflix.
"Bloodhounds" follows the story of two young men who are involved in the world of private loan business, where money comes before human life, fighting for their lives against huge forces of evil.
The drama adaptation is based on the webtoon of the same name. Woo Do Hwan takes the role of Gun Woo, a man with prospects and consideration, while Lee Sang Yi is Woo Jin, the smart and affectionate guy.

The duo is confident in their fighting skills, however, their life starts to change after they meet the notorious illegal private loan shark Myung Gil (Park Sung Woong). He reigns above the law along with Choi (Heo Joon Ho), a private loan industry legend.
Kim Sae Ron To Appear in 'Bloodhounds' Despite Her DUI Controversy
Apart from the two stars, the controversial actress Kim Sae Ron will also appear in the series. Though there were discussions that her parts will be edited out after she was dragged into a DUI controversy, the production decided not to cut her scenes as it will take money and time to redo filming the entire series. However, the actress' screen time in the drama will be limited.

Meanwhile, lead protagonist Woo Do Hwan is currently appearing in the historical-revenge drama "Joseon Attorney." Though it is his comeback drama following his military discharge, the series is not receiving the hype from the viewers.
With his new project "Bloodhounds" coming this June, some are already looking forward to his character transformation.
Viewers are also anticipating "Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha" star Lee Sang Yi in this series. Many are curious as to what kind of relationship and journey will this duo encounter the moment they face the loan sharks.
Apart from the confirmed release date, Netflix also unveiled the drama's poster and teaser to give the audience a sneak peek of the characters. In addition, "Bloodhounds" will have a total of nine episodes.
