Song Ji Hyo lends a helping hand to the employees of her former agency, Uzurocks, despite the settlement issue with the label.

It was after the 41-year-old beauty went out of her way to provide financial assistance to the struggling employees.

Song Ji Hyo Helps Employees of Uzurocks After the Agency Failed to Give Them Months Worth of Salary

According to a media outlet, the employees of her then-label, Uzurocks, are having a hard time financially due to unpaid wages by the agency.

The staff reportedly make a little over the minimum wage but are not compensated well.

Due to this, Song Ji Hyo stepped up by paying some of the hospital bills of the employees whose salaries were overdue and even providing taxi fares for those coming in to work.

One employee also mentioned that the actress would drive them to the next location and act as if she wasn't a celebrity.

In the same outlet, the actress said that some of the staff are struggling to pay their bills after Uzurocks delayed their salaries.

"I can live without that money right now. However, the employees became credit delinquents; their cards were blocked, and their cell phones were cut off," the actress said.

To recall, media outlets revealed that Uzurocks is experiencing major financial problems.

Due to this, the label had to let go of 10 employees since they couldn't afford to pay their monthly salaries.

According to a news portal, an employee claimed Uzurocks failed to pay their salaries for two months, and besides them, celebrities like Song Ji Hyo suffered the same incident.

In addition, the staff shared that they weren't given the year-end settlement refund while "celebrities aren't being paid their appearance or endorsement fees either."

Uzurocks' CEO Spends Company Money on Luxury Cars?

In a separate report, Dispatch revealed that agency CEO Park Joo Nam is living like a king despite his employees and artists suffering a major blow financially.

The outlet shared that the Uzurocks CEO drives a Porsche and often dresses in head-to-toe luxury outfits.

On the other hand, besides the agency, Uzurocks, which also ventured into fitness gyms, is experiencing a financial crisis as well.

As for Song Ji Hyo, the company owes her 900 million KRW, or about 671,000 USD, for her appearance and endorsement deals.

Song Ji Hyo is among the active members of the longtime running variety show "Running Man."

As for K-dramas, her last appearance was a cameo role in "Shooting Stars," portraying herself, and a lead role in "The Witch's Diner" in 2021 with Nam Ji Hyun and Chae Jong Hyeop.
