Kim Seon Ho Makes Public Apology at 'The Childe' Press Conference
Preparing for the long-awaited premiere, the cast and crew of the forthcoming thriller movie "The Childe" gathered for a press media conference last May 22. The event was held at the Lotte Cinema in Jayang-dong, Gwanjin-gu, Seoul.
The film's director, Park Hoon Jung, lead stars Kim Seon Ho, Kang Tae Joo, Go Ara, and Kim Kang Woo were present and shared various stories during their filming session.
Before the talk event began, Kim Seon Ho faced the media and humbly bowed to apologize for his recent personal life controversy. He said:
"I am sorry for causing concerns due to personal matters."
He continued:
"I am grateful for the people who came to visit. This is the first event for 'The Childe,' a movie created after much effort by director Park, the actors, and the staff. These people put in a lot of effort, and I did my best during the filming. I ask for your support for our upcoming movie. Thank you."
Kim Seon Ho's Controversy Impacted His Career, But He Bounced Back
In October 2021, Kim Seon Ho made a short exit from the entertainment spotlight from his scheduled activities after he was involved in a controversy over his private life.

The issue broke out after he concluded his healing-romance series "Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha."
Due to the impact of the rumors, the "Start-Up" actor stepped down from his previous ongoing show appearances, such as KBS1's "2 Days & 1 Night."
In addition, his potential movies "Dog Days" and "2 O'Clock Date" got affected, making him withdraw from the projects.
Fortunately, he made a return in the theater play "Touching the Void."

Two years later, the actor is finally making his silver screen debut through Park Hoon Jung's "The Childe." This marks Kim Seon Ho's first-ever movie project.
"The Childe" is scheduled to meet the viewers starting June 21. It is an action-noir film where the story centers around Marco, a boxer with a complicated past. He has been wandering around illegal arenas in the Philippines, where he resides with his mother.
One day, he travels back to Korea to search for his long-lost father, only to be relentlessly pursued by a dangerous group, including the mysterious nobleman, Childe.
