Lee Sang Woo made viewers swoon after the actor revealed why he often takes his wife, Kim So Yeon, on motorcycle dates.
The "Golden Garden" star appeared as a guest on MBC's "Radio Star," where he shared a glimpse of his current status with the 42-year-old actress.
Lee Sang Woo Reveals the Story Behind the "Helmet Date" With Kim So Yeon
At the show, the staff showed clips of Lee Sang Woo and Kim So Yeon's date as the celebrity couple enjoyed cruising the city on his motorbike.
According to the actor, he loves taking his wife on an adventure date and, in their case, riding a motorcycle.
Interestingly, Lee Sang Woo revealed that they both have licenses and that he bought the bike for his wife.
As for the reason behind this, the 43-year-old actor shared that he wanted to show his bike the beauty of the city.
"I wanted to show Kim So Yeon around Seoul city since she started in show business so young that she hadn't been to many of the city's street markets," he said, as obtained by a media outlet.
Apart from that, the actor also shared the story behind their "helmet date."
He said that they would often wear the helmets most of the time and have microphones on them so they could hear each other clearly without revealing their faces."
However, Lee Sang Woo revealed the downside for his wife.
"Kim So Yeon was exhausted by its weight. She said she wanted to take it off, but I stopped her and said, 'The delight of street foods only comes to those who bear the weight of the helmet," he added.
Kim So Yeon and Lee Sang Woo met each other on the set of the weekend K-drama "Happy Home."
A year after dating, the celebrity couple tied the knot in June 2017 and were blessed with two kids, a daughter who was born in 2016 and a son in 2019.

Since then, the couple has shared their story with the public, gushing as they expressed their love and admiration for their partner.
Lee Sang Woo Encouraged Kim So Yeon to Accept 'The Penthouse'
One of Kim So Yeon's most remarkable projects throughout her career is the Makjang series "The Penthouse."
Viewers love to hate her villain, Cheon Seo Jin, the primadonna and wife of Joo Dan Tae, played by Uhm Ki Joon.
In a previous interview, it was revealed that Kim So Yeon's husband pushed her to accept the offer in "The Penthouse."
At the time, she thought that her character was so intense, and because of that, she was "scared" that she might not be able to do justice to the character.
Thankfully, Lee Sang Woo advised her to "think of it as a challenge."
Lo and behold, Kim So Yeon received several awards because of the role.
Now, she is a part of "Tale of the Nine-Tailed 1938" with Kim Bum and Lee Dong Wook.
