The hilarious group of grandpas and their hard-working baggage boy are back for the third season of "Grandpas Over Flowers".
In an earlier statement, tvN revealed that the grandpas in the first season will be reprising their roles in the third installment of Director Na Young Suk's popular backpacking and travel show. They said, "Lee Soon Jae, Shin Gu, Park Geun Hyung and Baek Il Seob, the original members of 'Grandpas Over Flowers', will be back for the third season."
On 'baggage boy' Lee Seo Jin, they stated, "We are currently negotiating with Lee Seo Jin about appearing. He has previous drama commitments, so we cannot confirm his participation in the third season."
However, contrary to their statement, Na PD himself revealed, "Lee Seo Jin will definitely be going as the baggage boy. It may be that tvN was careful about confirming Lee Seo Jin's participation because they are negotiating the schedules, but he will definitely be back as the baggage boy."
Likewise, Lee Seo Jin's company Hook Entertainment confirmed this news. They said, "He's also participating in KBS drama 'Good Times Indeed' , so we asked the company to understand that since the production of 'Grandpas Over Flowers' is before the filming date, it won't have too much of an effect on the drama schedule."
The second season "Noonas Over Flowers" featuring Lee Seung Gi is currently airing on tvN.
