Following his military discharge, Jang Ki Yong is back in K-dramaland with an upcoming romance-fantasy series, "Although I Am Not a Hero."
After being selected to play the lead role, together with Chun Woo Hee, the South Korean heartthrob is gearing for the filming of his first K-drama after his military activities.

In an exclusive report, the upcoming K-drama will be directed by Jo Hyun Taek, the genius behind the hit series "SKY Castle," "Maids," and "Snowdrop." In addition, "Introverted Boss" screenwriter Joo Hwa Mi is in charge of the script.
"Although I Am Not a Hero" will have its first day of shooting scheduled for August.
As for the release date, officials have yet to confirm the target premiere, but it will make its debut on JTBC.
In addition, Jang Ki Yong also renewed his contract with YG Entertainment.
"As a companion and partner of Jang Ki Yong, we promise to provide our full support and gear up to aid his return as an actor," the label shared, as obtained by a media outlet.
On the other hand, viewers are definitely delighted to see the South Korean heartthrob with a new character, especially his onscreen chemistry with Chun Woo Hee.
