Lee Han Byul Debuts To Hallyu With 'Mask Girl'
On August 16, Netflix's "Mask Girl" heightened the public's anticipation as it introduced its cast and crew ahead of its premiere.
During the production presentation on August 16, it is revealed that Lee Han Byul broke the competition rate of 1000:1, besting other aspirants.
Kim Young Hoon, the director of the show, described it as "fate." He reasoned, "Lee Han Byul left a lasting impression on the team despite being a reserved and humanly attractive person."
The audition process was held at the height of the pandemic, and was done through virtual auditions where the candidates had to submit a video clip of their profiles.
Thankfully, Lee Han Byul was cast. Despite the intense pressure, the actress channeled her jitters into showcasing Kim Mo Mi's anxiety and lack of will in her stagnant life.
