Released in 2021, "Bulgasal: Immortal Souls" is a dark fantasy K-drama with a hint of historical drama elements that stars Lee Jin Wook, Kwon Nara, Lee Joon, and more.
Not only did the 16-part episode series deliver an intriguing story that kept viewers hooked with every episode, but it also showcased incredible visual elements.
Directed by Jang Young Woo of "Entourage" and the upcoming K-drama "Queen of Tears," "Bulgasal: Immortal Souls" depicts the story of a man who becomes immortal due to a curse. Due to this, he sought revenge from a woman with a mysterious past and present.
He thinks that she is the person responsible for his never-ending misery.
As he chased down the mysterious woman, he met interesting individuals along the way. Unfortunately, one of them is the villain, who is also immortal, just like him.
Of course, the "Bulgasal: Immortal Souls" cast update will not be complete without Lee Joon. Taking on the role of villain, the singer-actor proved his versatility as he played the antagonist, Ok Eul Tae.
On the other hand, he is set to return with an interesting character in the forthcoming K-drama "7 Escape."
From the creators of "The Penthouse: War in Life" trilogy, Lee Joon stars alongside Uhn Ki Joon, Hwang Jung Eum, and more and will be returning for season 2.
