Due to the lack of romance in the drama that spanned for two seasons, many fans expressed their disappointment about the ending. One fan commented jokingly, "We hate whoever decided to end the series with no MunHana."
The others on the other hand were more forgiving, saying that So Mun and Do Ha Na were better off as friends and fellow Counters.
Although the series received great flak for its ending, it's no doubt that "The Uncanny Counter 2" is one of the best sequels that were ever released this 2023.
