Edam Entertainment Gives Updates on IU's Ongoing Battle Against Online Accusers
Edam Entertainment, IU's agency, released a press release on October 6 and gave updates and progress of civil and criminal lawsuits against the accusers.
The agency elaborated that after receiving such threats, they immediately strengthened the artist's security personnel to secure her safety, especially now that she is filming her upcoming K-drama.
Edam Entertainment added that they will make sure that the false reports can also be subjected to punishment, and will track down the accusers to quickly and strongly punish them.
These are also the security measures that they apply to their other artists including Shin Se Kyung and WOODZ.
What's Next for IU
Furthermore, IU is continuing to work on her projects in the music and drama industries. Following her big screen return with "Dream," the award-winning star is about to make her highly-anticipated drama comeback with "You Have Done Well."
She will collaborate for the first time with K-heartthrob and K-drama leading man Park Bo Gum in this series. In addition, the project is tentatively scheduled to premiere sometime in 2024.
