Lee Yoo Bi is facing bizarre accusations after an online post drags the actress' name and claims that the user was a victim of hacking and illegal filming.
In an online community, Nate Pann, a post titled "I Am a Victim of Illegal Filming by Lee Yubi for 3 Years" is gaining attention due to the user's claims.
Uploaded on October 5, the post spread like wildfire on social media after mentioning Lee Yoo Bi's name.
Online Post Claims Lee Yoo Bi Illigally Filmed and Hacked Someone Whom She Calls 'Mistress'
As obtained by a news portal, "The Escape of the Seven" star was accused of filming the person illegally and hacking her mobile phone.
The author of the post says that it involved Lee Yoo Bi's ex-boyfriend, adding that her reputation was tarnished for labeling her a "mistress."
"I've been a victim of illegal filming and mobile phone hacking by Lee Yubi for 3 years," the post reads, adding, "I believe it was driven by stress caused by her ex-boyfriend."
Meanwhile, she continues to throw accusations at the actress and even accuses her of hacking her phone.
"Lee Yoo Bi knew my personal information and harassed me by falsely accusing me. Not only did she hack my phone, but she also shared the information with fellow celebrities on the drama set," the post says.
Lastly, the author of the post claimed that she reported this twice to the police back in April but "was not taken seriously."
Authorities also closed the investigation after three months and turned it into false information against the actress.
Public Doubts Online Post Against Lee Yoo Bi
As the online post garnered the attention of the media, netizens have had mixed reactions regarding the post.
Most of them doubt the truthfulness of the post and even ask the author to reveal evidence that supports her claim.
Others also questioned the post, saying, "Why would Lee Yoo Bi do such a thing to you?" Some also noted that the post is also another form of online harassment.
As of this writing, the post has over 200,000 views and counting, while the actress and her agency have not responded to the claims.
Meanwhile, Lee Yoo Bi is currently starring in the hit revenge drama "The Escape of the Seven."
The actress takes on the villain role, portraying the character of K-pop wannabe Han Mo Ne.
