After recovering from his health condition, the "Taxi Driver" star continued his annual donation to the non-profit organization, Beautiful Foundation.

In a report cited by a news portal, the foundation expressed their gratitude to Lee Je Hoon for "helping the underprivileged and supporting public interest activities" through his generous donation.
The award-winning actor surprised fans after his agency announced that he would no longer appear as host at the 28th Busan International Film Festival or the 2023 Buil Film Awards due to his health condition.
In a statement, COMPANY ON shared that the actor was rushed to the hospital "due to severe abdominal pain, and he was diagnosed with ischemic colitis."
Thankfully, he has now recovered from the emergency surgery and is set to return to his activities.
Lee Je Hoon is set to return to the small screen with the new K-drama "Chief Inspector 1963."
It is a prequel to the hit crime investigation series "Chief Inspector," with record-breaking viewership ratings of 70 percent, which aired in the 1970s.
As for Lee Je Hoon's drama, the mystery drama will be directed by Kim Sung Hoon of "Confidential Assignment 1" and "Rampant," with a cast lineup including Lee Dong Hwi, Choi Woo Sung, and more.
