In an exclusive report, Jo Jung Suk's new drama will premiere via tvN.
Moreover, "Sejak the Enchanted" will join new K-dramas airing in January 2024 and will be the next series after Lee Young Ae's K-drama "Maestra" wraps up the season.
Helmed by Jo Nam Gook, the director behind "The Good Detective," and penned by "The Crowned Clown" screenwriter Kim Sung Deok, the upcoming historical-romance series focuses on the challenging love story between King Lee Yi In, played by Jo Jung Suk, and Kang Hee Soo, portrayed by Shin Se Kyung, a vengeful woman who tries to seduce the King.
But instead of being the one who takes the lead, Kang Hee Soo gets seduced by King Lee Yi In.
In "Hospital Playlist," he will showcase his versatility in acting as he plays a dedicated lawyer named Jung In Hoon.
Joining him as lead stars are Yoo Jae Myun and Lee Sun Kyun.
As fans await the movie's premiere date, Jo Jung Suk is also active on TV shows.
Back in September 2023, Spot TV News reported that he was selected to join the upcoming music variety show under producing director (PD) Yang Jung Woo. This means that fans will get to see more of the actor in the coming year.
