After it was reported that the South Korean actor was selected to star in the webtoon-based series, the 36-year-old actor will no longer join Ryu Seung Ryong as one of the main leads.

In an exclusive report cited by Ten Asia, an industry official told the outlet that Ji Chang Wook officially turned down the offer due to "various issues."
Ji Chang Wook, an undercover agent in "The Worst of Evil," transforms into a local weather forecaster in their hometown.
Helmed by Cha Young Hoon of "Uncontrollably Fond," "When the Camellia Blooms," and "Forecasting Love and Weather," the upcoming K-drama "Welcome to Samdalri" is slated to premiere in December 2022.
In addition to his forthcoming series, he is also set to headline the historical K-drama "Queen Woo" with Kim Mu Yeol, Lee Soo Hyuk, Jeon Jong Seo, and more, which is scheduled to premiere sometime in 2024.
