Im Sung Jae made a remarkable portrayal of a mafia member in "The Worst of Evil."
Taking on the role of Choi Jung Bae, one of Wi Ha Joon's trusted men and longtime friend, the 36-year-old actor spoke about his experience joining Ji Chang Wook and Im Se Mi in the action-packed series.
Released by Disney+, the 12-episode K-drama focuses on exposing one of the biggest drug groups in Gangnam, led by Jung Ki Chul (Wi Ha Joon). Ji Chang Wook plays as detective Park Joon Mo, who goes undercover to become part of Ki Chul's elite group.
Interestingly, he worked with Wi Ha Joon in "The Bad and Crazy," as Im Sung Jae took on the role of owner of the funeral home, President Ma, who appeared in episodes 2 and 3.
In the hit ENA series "Extraordinary Attorney Woo," he played as Kim Min Shik, the shop owner and boss of Dong Geurami, portrayed by Joo Hyun Jung.
After "The Worst of Evil," viewers can see more of this versatile actor in the upcoming K-drama "Hellbound" season 2.
