Viewers Call Out Jo In Sung and 'Unexpected Business' Season 3 Cast - Here's Why

Viewers were quick to notice that some of the cast members were not properly equipped for their tasks, such as preparing food for the customers.

At one point, Jo In Sung, the main host of "Unexpected Business" season 3, faced backlash for being unsanitary while at the Kimbap.

He was seen without a mask and facing the food while talking.

"As "Unexpected Business 3" is running a restaurant and kimbap corner together, we should have paid close attention to hygiene, but there were shortcomings, such as the lack of wearing a mask, that caused concern to viewers."

The team expressed a "deep apology" on the matter, stating that it was "completely the production team's fault."

In addition, officials also explained that they thoroughly complied with the "local hygiene regulations and related laws" in the United States where the show was filmed; however, they acknowledge missing the "fundamentals," referring to sanitary gear.

As of now, the team is currently in the post-editing and broadcasting process; hence, they cannot correct procedures on the filming set but are encouraged to "work hard to reflect the opinions of viewers in editing and production."

The current season is the show's third installment, but it's their first time filming the variety program outside of South Korea.

"Unexpected Business" season 3 location is in Monterey, California, where Jo In Sung and Cha Tae Hyun run a Korean supermarket store.

Joining them are celebrity part-timers, which include Han Hyo Joo, Park Bo Young, Kim Ah Joong, Im Joo Hwan, Yoon Gyung Ho, and Park Byung Eun.

Officially premiered on October 26, the show has been gaining overwhelming response due to the cast members' chemistry and interaction with customers.

Airing every Thursday, "Unexpected Business" season 3 has a total of 12 episodes and is streamed via Disney+ and TVING.
