Park Sung Woong Joins Lee Joon Hyuk in ‘Stranger’ Spin-Off

After being in talks with the drama officials, Park Sung Woong has officially confirmed his appearance in the highly-anticipated spin-off to "Stranger."

According to a news outlet, the 50-year-old actor is set to join Lee Joon Hyuk as one of the lead stars in the upcoming K-drama "Good or Bad Dong Jae."

Park Sung Woong To Become Lee Joon Hyuk's Rival in 'Stranger' Spin-Off

According to the news portal, Park Sung Woong takes on the character of CEO Nam Wan Sung, the CEO of Lee Hong Construction. He will be the rival of Lee Joon Hyuk, who reprises his role as prosecutor, Seo Dong Jae.

Reprising their roles, Bae Doona and Cho Seung Woo were joined by Jeon Hye Jin and Choi Moo Sung in season 2, while Lee Joon Hyuk continued to play his character.

After "Stranger" season 2 ended in 2020, tvN decided to release a spin-off that focuses on Lee Joon Hyuk's character.

In September 2023, Studio Dragon, the renowned production company, officially confirmed that "Stranger" will be returning with a spin-off.

According to a report, the premise of the story will unfold through Seo Dong Jae, who portrays a person who is neither good nor evil.

The upcoming K-drama "Good or Bad Dong Jae" will illustrate his struggle to survive in the world of prosecutors.

Penned by Kim Sang Won, who appeared in "Misaeng: Incomplete Life," the "Stranger" spin-off is scheduled to hit the small screen in 2024.
