The drama premiered on November 24 on SBS and is also available on Netflix. It immediately became a hot topic and garnered an impressive viewership rating during its pilot episode.

According to Nielsen Korea, "My Demon" episode 1 recorded an average score of 4.5 percent nationwide.

Meanwhile, it fell to an average rating of 3.4 percent nationwide during the second episode.

However, it continues to hit global popularity on Netflix as Flix Patrol confirmed that "My Demon" ranked third globally in the TV show category. It has also hit the same spot in various countries such as South Korea, Thailand, Vietnam, and more.
