Ji Sung is making his K-drama comeback with an interesting team-up with Jeon Mi Do!
The two are set to appear in the 2024 television series "Connection."
Ji Sung Stars, Jeon Mi Do To Headline 'Connection'
An exclusive report revealed that the upcoming K-drama depicts the story of a top-tier detective, who is forcibly addicted to drugs by someone. With this, an incident reveals the story of the 20-year-old friendship and connection following the death of a friend.
For his small-screen comeback, Ji Sung transforms into Inspector Jang Jae Kyung of Anhyeon Police Station's narcotics team. Due to his flawless image and successful operations, he gains the respect of his juniors and the trust of seniors within the police force.
Moreover, through his years of service, he lives by his motto, "Success without connections and support has no weaknesses."
Through the upcoming crime drama, Ji Sung will showcase his undeniable acting skills through the role of Jang Jae Kyung.
Joining him is fellow top star Jeon Mi Do as Oh Yun Jin. She is a very opinionated and outspoken reporter working for Anhyun Economic Daily's social affairs department.
Yun Jin is dubbed by her colleague as the Joan of Arc who can't ignore unlawful acts. Unfortunately, her fearless attitude is also the reason she was unfairly dismissed from her previous job.
Meanwhile, "Connection" will be released under the SBS network, which is penned by Lee Hyu of "Civil War of Prosecutors" and helmed by director Kim Moon Kyo of "Trolley."
According to the production team, the chemistry between Ji Sung and Jeon Mi Do "will further enhance the level of perfection of 'Connection'" through their flawless acting skills.

Best known for her role as the top neurosurgeon Chae Song Hwa in "Hospital Playlist," Jeon Mi Do has proven her versatility after joining the melodrama "Thirty-Nine," where she played the role of a terminally-ill patient, along with Son Ye Jin and Kim Ji Hyun.
She is also an accomplished musical actress who worked in "Sweeney Todd" and "Maybe Happy Ending."
As for Ji Sung, his last K-drama was the thriller-crime "Adamas," and gained notable recognition when he starred in "The Devil Judge."
Of course, who would forget Ji Sung's performance in "Kill Me, Heal Me" and the novel-based K-drama "Doctor John" with Lee Se Young and Lee Kyu Hyung?
