Actress Park Shin Hye shared the behind story of the kiss scene with actor Lee Min Ho.
Last week, the SBS Wednesday Thursday drama "The Heirs," which has been a hit drama for whole two months, aired the show's last episode. As if to prove the show's popularity, the actors and actresses who made their appearances in "The Heirs" are also having busy times even after the final episode of the drama. This is the same for Park Shin Hye, an actress who took up the role of the female main character in the drama.
Park Shin Hye in an interview said, "There were a lot of kiss scenes. The first kiss I think was the most memorable one for me. When you watch that episode, Cha Eun Sang holds Kim Tan's hands by surprise, and that was because I was actually surprised by him while acting."
Park Shin Hye added, "When we were filming the first cut, the director said, 'This time you guys have to kiss for real.' At that time, Lee Min Ho and I were both feeling awkward so we just shot it. In the script, though, there was a line that he had to push my chin. I did not know he would actually do it, but he did it and I think I was surprised by it because I did not know that he would."
Park Shin Hye also added that she did not have much experience with kiss scenes prior to filming "The Heirs."
"When I think about it, I did not film that many kiss scenes in dramas. I was inexperienced, so I felt awkward. I think that awkwardness had come out in the hand that I grabbed. Thankfully, there were no reshoots," Park Shin Hye said, making the reporters at the interview scene laugh.
