BBC Selects Uhm Jung Hwa as Hallyu's Representative
Some of those changes were seen in her latest drama "Doctor Cha," which became a hit in the first half of 2023. The actress then shared more about her previous character and honestly conveyed how she felt portraying the role that was completely different from the characters she played in the 90s.
"Cha Jeong Sook is a woman who has fulfilled her role as a mother and has chosen to live a life pursuing her dreams. Her journey is indeed incredible and inspiring."
She continued, "Today, I can see many strong female characters boldly embracing life on their own terms, and I feel fortunate to be able to tell women's stories even at my age," expressing her enthusiasm for the support she receives from the crowd.
Aside from acting on screen, Uhm Jung Hwa also returned to the stage and showcased her talent in singing and dancing.
Furthermore, she has always been an actress and singer in the eyes of the crowd. Expectations and interest are increasing for Uhm Jung Hwa's future actions in her career.
