For 6 consecutive years, Shin Dong Yup graced the stage as host, along with Kim Yoo Jung, who has been the ceremony's MC for 3 years.
Held on December 29, 2023, the stars lit up the event as celebrities and industry people gathered at the SBS Prism Tower in Sangam-dong, Mapo-gu, in Seoul to witness how the SBS recognized the outstanding achievements in Korean dramas aired on its network.

The negative reaction comes after the public noticed that most of the celebrities were wearing black since the awards show took place on the same day as Lee Sun Gyun's private burial ceremony.
Speaking of the late actor, none of the cast and crew members of the SBS drama "Payback" attended the annual event. It can be recalled that the thriller mystery series was Lee Sun Kyun's last K-drama before his passing.
