Hwang In Yeop officially signed with a new agency.

According to a news outlet, the South Korean heartthrob has signed a management contract with KN Studio.

One of the stars who started their career as models, Hwang In Yeop, transitioned to acting and made his debut in 2018 by playing one of the lead stars in the web drama "W.H.Y."

From then on, he remained active in the industry, headlining Naver TV's "Freshman" and joining as a supporting character in "The Tale of Nokdu" and "18 Again."

However, it was the rom-com series "True Beauty" where he took on the role of an idol trainee at ST Entertainment named Han Seo Jun.

Along with him are Moon Ga Young, Cha Eun Woo, and Park You Na. Interestingly, he also sang one of the drama's OSTs titled "It Starts Today."

In the hit series "True Beauty," Hwang In Yeop managed to impress the public with his acting prowess and continue to play lead roles in "The Sound of Magic" and "Why Her?"

Other than moving to a new agency, he is set to return to the small screen with a new drama.

On December 13, drama officials confirmed that the South Korean heartthrob will star in the upcoming series "Family by Choice."

Joining Hwang In Yeop as lead stars are DIA's Jung Chaeyeon and Bae Hyun Sung.

Directed by Kim Seung Ho of "Twenty-Five Twenty-One" and "Joseon Attorney: A Morality," the upcoming K-drama is a romance story that depicts the lives of three people who spend their teens together. Despite not being related by blood, they see each other as family.

After 10 years of being away from each other, the trio gets reunited.

In Hwang In Yeop's new drama, he takes on the role of Kim San Ha, a handsome man who seems to have no weakness or doesn't appear to be lacking in anything. He left his friends and returned to their hometown after 10 years.

Apart from the trio, viewers can expect a roster of talented stars.

"Family By Choice" also includes Seo Ji Hye of "Love All Play."
