K-wave kicked off the year with a slew of amazing series. Interestingly, 2024 is set to showcase a round of K-drama hearthrobs returning with new K-dramas.

From Lee Min Ho to Kim Soo Hyun and more, viewers will get to see these K-drama actors return to the small screen with a promising series.

Fans are thrilled to see these stars after announcing their activities in 2024.

Lee Min Ho

The top star graces various fashion shows and publications, showing off his oozing charm; however, in 2024, Lee Min Ho is back with a promising K-drama.

After his notable performance in Disney+'s "Pachinko," the 36-year-old star is back with a new rom-com series.

Probably one of the highly anticipated 2024 K-drama, Lee Min Ho will be working alongside the queen of rom-com Gong Hyo Jin in "When the Stars Gossip."

Helmed by Park Shin Woo of "Angel Eyes," "Jealousy Incarnate," and "It's Okay to Not Be Okay," with screenwriter Seo Sook Hyang of "Pasta," "Miss Korea," and "Jealousy Incarnate," the forthcoming K-drama is a romantic comedy that depicts the love journey of two individuals in the most unexpected way.

Lee Min Ho takes on the role of OB-GYN (obstetrician-gynecologist) Gong Ryong, who joined a space journey as a tourist.

Interestingly, this is where he met the Korean-American astronaut Eve Kim, played by Gong Hyo Jin, who will lead the space expedition.

Scheduled to hit TVN sometime in 2024, "When the Stars Gossip" is Lee Min Ho's comeback drama after "Pachinko," while this will be Gong Hyo Jin's return after 5 years since the award-winning "When the Camellia Blooms."

Kim Soo Hyun

From one K-drama heartthrob to another, Kim Soo Hyun will also be returning in 2024 with a new series.

After the 2021 remake of the British TV show "One Ordinary Day," he returns as their village pride in "Queen of Tears."

Portraying Yongduri's legal director of the conglomerate Queens Group, named Baek Hyun Woo, viewers will get to see his intense on-screen chemistry with Kim Ji Won, who plays the "queen" of Queens Group's department stores, and chaebol heiress Hong Hae In.

"Queen of Tears" will have a total of 16 episodes for the whole season and be directed by Kim Hee Won of "Little Women" and Jang Young Woo of "Bulgasal: Immortal Souls."

Park Bo Gum

Last on the list is Park Bo Gum.

Following his successful mandatory military service, he is back doing appearances at fashion events, hosting, and TV show guest appearances.

As for his activities as an actor, Park Bo Gum is back in K-drama with an exciting team-up with IU.

Headlining "You Have Done Well," he will be transforming into the young Park Hae Joon, who was reunited with her best friend Ae Soon, played by IU and Moon So Ri.

Scheduled to premiere in 2024, Park Bo Gum's new drama will air via Netflix.
