Han So Hee Reveals Having the Best Years of Her Life Before Becoming An Actress
In the famous YouTube show "The Game Caterers" hosted by Na PD, K-drama couple Park Seo Joon and Han So Hee made their special appearances and talked about various stories about their career and lives outside show business.
Han So Hee shared for the first time an interesting story about her acting debut journey. She started by describing what her life was like before becoming a public figure and joining the glamorous life of entertainment.
The actress said that when she was filming her new drama "Gyeongseong Creature" there were times when she wished to have a different life. She continued, "I made my debut at the age of 25 and in the five years between the ages of 20-25, I spent the best years of my life."
She elaborated, "I was working part-time at that time. I love doing things like having drinks with my friends, dressing up for a mini stroll in Gangnam, going to the movie theater by myself, and so on. I had so much fun with life then."
Han So Hee Reveals Interesting Story About Her Career Path
Han So Hee then revealed that she had no plans to debut at the age of 25 because she dreamt of studying abroad.
"I got into a university in France, but I couldn't go because I didn't have enough money. I had to have at least $46,000 in my bank account to get a visa." She continued that in order to save money for her visa, she started working part-time.
"Back then, you should get paid something like $1,400 for working 12 hours a day at a pub. But I could get paid $2,3000 if I modeled for a clothing brand for two hours. And just like that, I started modeling for more clothing brands. Then I got asked to be a model for a commercial. I got paid approximately $15,000 for that."
Then when she was about to complete her target savings, the head of one agency told her that she should debut as an actress. Han So Hee refused but returned to them in the end. That's how she ended up entering the entertainment industry. It all started with the actress simply wanting to save money to study abroad.
