'Welcome To Samdalri' Episode 16 Recap

While Jo Sam Dal (Shin Hye Sun) is preparing for her exhibit, Boo Sang Do (Kang Yeoung Seok) makes Bang Eun Joo (Jo Yoon Seo) confess to her crimes.

Later on, she makes headlines for everything that she did. Despite all that, Jo Sam Dal doesn't feel good. She redirects her positive feelings to the people who were good to her, and finally holds her very first exhibition.

The reporter who's been following her around publishes an article where he appreciates her work, and cheers her on to return to the industry.

Jo Sam Dal also encourages Jo Yong Pil (Ji Chang Wook) to accept the invitation from the World Meteorological Organization, and promises to support him with all her heart.

Two years later, Jo Sam Dal is once again at the top of the best photographers in South Korea. Jo Yong Pil is fulfilling his dreams as a weatherman at his dream organization.

The people in Samdalri also find their own happiness, and peace is also restored among them. At Christmas, the couple reunited after years of missing each other.

Jo Sam Dal and Jo Yong Pil feel a sense of contentment, knowing that whenever they run out of breath, they can have their small stream of tranquility in Samdalri.

'Welcome To Samdalri' Concludes With Highest Rating

After eight long weeks, JTBC's "Welcome To Samdalri" has finally concluded on January 21.

The drama was well-received by the public, and Shin Hye Sun and Ji Chang Wook's synergy brought huge happiness as well as entertainment to their fans.

"Welcome To Samdalri" enjoyed an all-time high streak. The final episode broke its own records as it scored a nationwide rating of 12.3%, jumping for 2% from the night before.

The show bested other weekend K-dramas across all cable channels including "My Happy Ending," "Captivating the King" and "Korea-Khitan War."

Although the work didn't surpass its 20% rating mark, "Welcome To Samdalri" maintained its momentum and its spot as one of the best healing K-dramas this 2024.
